Our Chef - Rebekah (Becky)...

Hi! I’m Chef Rebekah Lennerton.  Originally from Halifax, I have lived in the Muskoka area for over 20 years and feel very lucky to do so.

My culinary training includes schooling through Humber College, an extensive apprenticeship, business courses, and acquiring the training necessary to teach my profession to others.

Having acquired a Red-Seal Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario Apprenticeship Board, I apprenticed at the elite Lake Joseph Club and was the assistant manager of the private members club.  Our guests included Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Tom Hanks, Martin Short, Eric Lindros, and many others.  I even catered Kate Hudson's 17th birthday party!

In Toronto, I worked with Mark McKewen, of North 44, rated #1 by Gourmet Magazine.  He now has a popular t.v. show "Top Chef Canada" on TFN.   Locally, I've worked at Geneva Park, Horseshoe Valley, and Cranberry Resorts.

I spent two seasons at Northridge Inn and Resort, where I had a food review done by the Parry Sound Explorer and I hosted the NHL All-star snowmobile weekend.  In addition, I have managed many fine dining restaurants, an authentic pub, and the culinary department of a retirement complex.
